Stress-related disorders such as anxiety and depression can affect day-to-day activities, personal interactions, ability to concentrate, and sleep.

The associated physical symptoms that may occur in conjunction with anxiety are palpitations (increased heart rate), tremors (shivering especially of the hands), dryness of mouth, difficulty swallowing (lump in the throat), restlessness, reduced sleep, and loss of appetite.

Depression is a disorder characterized by a persistently depressed mood or loss of interest in activities, causing significant impairment in daily life. Patients may exhibit symptoms such as lack of sleep, lack of appetite, loss of libido, fatigue, and irritability.
